Tekra is a manufacturer, precision convertor, and distributor of plastic films and transfer adhesives based in the Milwaukee area serving all of North America. Tekra manufactures films for digital technologies including HP Indigo, inkjet, toner, and thermal transfer printing processes. We manufacture hardcoat films with improved scratch, chemical and weather resistance properties and offer light management films for electronic display applications. We support project coating with technical support for custom development and toll coating from proof of concept through to full production.

We carry the complete brands of our key supply partners: Mylar® and Melinex® polyester films from DuPont Teijin Films™, and Tekra is DTF's exclusive North American distributor for the medical diagnostics market; LEXAN™ polycarbonate from SABIC Innovative Plastics; and the 3M line of adhesive transfer tapes and bonding solutions. Other products include wide format cast and calendared vinyl films from 3M; rigid polyvinyl films; pressure sensitive label materials; polystyrene; Tyvek®; Teslin®; Yupo®; protective tapes and masking; and other synthetic materials in addition to conductive Inks. With dedicated focus on films, adhesives, and printing technology, Tekra can assist you in making material selections to best fit internal processing and end use applications.
